I'm a children’s author and primary school teacher with an interest and specialist qualification in Gifted Education. My writing is lyrical, gentle and filled with heart. The antics of my son and students are the inspiration for many of my stories and I remain in touch with my inner child. I completed the Australian Writers' Centre (AWC)  picture book writing courses and belong to SCBWI and The Duck Pond. I have written several picture book manuscripts, have just started another AWC course and am beginning to write chapter books. 2025 will be a big year, with my first two picture books scheduled for publication in early and mid 2025.
